Voltage and current ranges are listed specifications. For continuous operation, match the complete output-power and input configuration to your working point.

220V Bench Power Supply Features

The listed models combine continuously adjustable voltage/current limits, automatic CV/CC switching, encoder adjustment and output enable/disable control. Their specification tables list overvoltage, overcurrent, overpower, overtemperature and short-circuit protection. Cooling fans support heat dissipation during operation.

C models use two-knob controls; models without C use four-knob adjustment. All four tables list four-digit displays with 100mV voltage and 10mA current resolution. For remote testing, C models offer programmable interfaces; the four-knob descriptions list optional On/Off/Read communication.

Choose a 220V Supply for Your Load

  • A test needing up to 10A: compare eTM-22010 and eTM-22010C. For a 200V, 8A load, the required output power is 1600W; match the continuous power and input configuration as well as the current range.
  • A test needing more than 10A: compare eTM-22020 and eTM-22020C, which list 0–20A current ranges. A 220V, 15A working point requires 3300W, so the 110–130V input option limited to 1200W is insufficient.
  • Automated voltage/current control: choose a programmable configuration of eTM-22010C or eTM-22020C. Select RS232, RS485, USB or the listed RS232 plus analogue option to match your test system.

220V DC Power Supply FAQ

Does 220V mean the DC output or the AC mains input?

Here, 220V refers to the maximum adjustable DC output, with a listed range of 0–220V. AC input is a separate specification and order choice. Select the input configuration for your installation; a 220V AC outlet does not mean the supply produces fixed 220V DC.

Which model should I choose for a 220V, 15A test?

Compare eTM-22020 and eTM-22020C, which list 0–20A ranges. The 10A models do not cover 15A. That operating point requires 3300W; confirm a continuous-output configuration rated for it and allow for any start-up demand.

Can a 220V power supply run a 100V, 10A load?

Yes, the adjustable voltage range covers 100V. The load requires 1000W. Compare eTM-22010 and eTM-22010C, then choose an input/output configuration that supports that working point. A 20A model is not automatically necessary for a 10A load.

Can I use 110V input at 220V and 10A or 20A output?

Those load requirements are 2200W and 4400W respectively. The eTM-22010C and eTM-22020C order forms limit 110–130V input to output power of 1200W or less, so that option does not cover either working point. Select an input configuration rated for the required output power.

Can I control a 220V supply through RS232, RS485 or USB?

The programmable eTM-22010C and eTM-22020C pages offer those interface choices, plus RS232 with analogue control. Select the interface when configuring the product and confirm command compatibility with your software. The four-knob descriptions list On/Off/Read communication rather than the same programmable function.

Should I choose two-knob or four-knob controls?

Compare eTM-22010C with eTM-22010, or eTM-22020C with eTM-22020. They pair the same listed voltage/current ranges with different manual controls. Choose a C model when you also require the listed programmable interface options; compare the product configuration before ordering.

Does a 20A rating mean the load always receives 20A?

No. The current rating is the upper limit of the adjustable current range. In CV mode, the load draws current according to its operating conditions; once the selected limit is reached, CC mode regulates current and the output voltage can decrease. Set the current limit for the device under test.
