80V Bench Power Supply Features
The K8011 family offers 11A switching models with five- and six-digit blue or color-screen displays. The 8030 family offers 30A capacity with two- or four-knob controls. The compact 8010HP provides up to 300W with a 0–80V voltage range and a current range up to 10A. Maximum voltage and current are not available simultaneously.
CV/CC regulation and output switching support bench tests at different voltage/current settings. Display resolution, setting accuracy and ripple remain separate selection criteria. For multi-rail tests, compare the three-channel DM-JJJ configuration rather than adding current ratings across channels.
Choose an 80V Supply for Your Test
- An 80V, 11A working point: eTM-K8011SP+ and eTM-K8011SPL+ provide six-digit 11A candidates with blue and color screens. The load requires 880W.
- A 48V, 20A load: eTM-8030C and eTM-8030 cover the current requirement. The load requires 960W; compare manual controls and interface options.
- Three separate 80V rails: eTM-DM-JJJ lists three 80V/10A channels. Match each channel to its load and the complete supplied power configuration.
80V DC Power Supply FAQ
Which 80V supply should I choose for 48V and 20A?
eTM-8030C and eTM-8030 are the 30A candidates. The 11A K8011 family does not cover 20A. The load needs 960W.
Can I use an 80V DC supply at 12V or 24V?
Yes, the listed 0–80V output is adjustable. Select the current range and continuous power for the load, then set voltage and current limit before enabling output.
Should I choose a five- or six-digit K8011 model?
eTM-K8011SP and eTM-K8011SP+ differ in display resolution. Compare the listed setting accuracy and ripple as well; extra digits alone do not establish a more accurate output.
Can a 30A model supply an 80V, 30A load from 110V input?
eTM-8030C lists a 1200W ceiling for its 110–130V option. The load requires 2400W, so that option is insufficient.
Does a USB charging port support computer commands?
A charging outlet and a communication interface are separate. Select a model with the required rear interface and supported commands, such as a suitable configuration of eTM-8030C.
Can I combine the DM-JJJ channel currents into one 30A output?
eTM-DM-JJJ lists three separate 80V/10A outputs. That does not by itself specify a single 30A output or authorize parallel wiring; choose the 8030 family for a stated 30A single-output range.
Can the compact eTM-8010HP deliver 80V and 10A simultaneously?
No. The eTM-8010HP is rated at 300W. An 80V, 10A load requires 800W, which exceeds that rating. At 80V, the 300W power limit gives a calculated current ceiling of 3.75A; the model’s permitted operating conditions also apply. Choose this compact supply for operating points within its voltage, current and 300W limits.
