400V adjustable DC power for high-voltage bench testing

The eTM-40010 combines a continuously adjustable 0–400V output with a 0–10A current setting, front-panel encoder controls and optional computer interfaces. Set up a manual development bench or select a communication interface for integration into a controlled test fixture.

Set the output before powering the load

Preset voltage and current, then use the dedicated on/off button to enable the output. The four-digit LED display shows the operating values. Automatic CV/CC transition supports voltage-controlled operation and current limiting as the load changes. The CV indicator is green and the CC indicator is red.

Use the front-panel controls for local operation, or select an optional RS232, RS485 or USB interface for a computer-connected setup. Optional SENSE compensation measures voltage at the load connection; an external trigger option is also available.

High-voltage DC circuit development

Vary the DC input to a prototype across its intended operating range. The 400V adjustment range provides room for high-voltage test points, while the current setting lets you define the supply limit before enabling the output.

DC-input equipment validation

Supply equipment at different DC input levels to check operation at nominal voltage and at the limits of its specified input range. Match the load’s current and startup requirements to the selected supply configuration.

Remote switching and monitoring

Use an optional RS232, RS485 or USB interface for output on/off and readback from a test computer. Optional SENSE compensation is useful when lead resistance causes a difference between the supply-terminal voltage and the voltage at the fixture.

Low ripple, protection and cooling

Low-noise, low-ripple output supports DC bench work where supply disturbances matter. The switching design uses dual-frequency technology, with a temperature-controlled fan for cooling. Overvoltage, overcurrent, overpower, overtemperature and short-circuit protection are built in.

For sustained-load testing, provide clear ventilation and use output wiring suited to the load current. Keep the setup within the electrical and environmental operating limits.

Bench space and supplied accessories

The enclosure measures 410 × 250 × 155mm and weighs 7.5kg. Allow room behind the supply for cooling and cable connections. A power cord, certificate and output terminal are included; choose output leads and optional control interfaces with your order.
