30V DC Power Supply Model Comparison

Match the continuous output-power and input configuration to your operating voltage and current. The model ranges do not replace the complete permitted operating conditions.

30V Bench Power Supply Features

The 30V range includes different power-supply architectures. L303, L305 and L3010 linear families cover 3A, 5A and 10A with multiple displays. K3020 and K3030 switching families provide 20A and 30A candidates. Higher-current bench models extend to 200A, while compact MP, PL, P and F versions offer different presets, screens and manual controls.

For repeat voltage/current steps, compare stored sequences and supported commands on programmable models. For sensitive low-current work, compare published ripple and setting accuracy on linear models. Resolution, accuracy and maximum current answer different requirements; no single model is best for every 30V test.

Choose a 30V Supply for Your Test

• A 12V, 3A or 5A bench load: eTM-303DF and eTM-305DF are linear candidates; eTM-305MP offers a compact switching alternative with preset storage.
• A 30V, 10A test: eTM-L3010SP+ offers a linear programmable candidate. The load requires 300W. Compare ripple, setting accuracy and interface configuration with the compact 10A models.
• Programmed tests above 10A: eTM-K3020SP+ and eTM-K3030SP+ cover 20A and 30A. Their pages list stored sequences and Modbus/SCPI; choose the supplied interface for the test controller.
• A 24V, 100A or 30V, 200A load: eTM-30100C and eTM-30200C are the current-range candidates. The loads require 2400W and 6000W. Select continuous-output, mains and output-wiring configurations for those working points.

Which 30V supply can run a 24V, 10A device?

eTM-L3010SP+ is a 10A linear candidate. The load requires 240W. Compare its control and ripple specifications with a suitable 10A switching model.

Should I choose a linear or switching 30V supply?

For low-current tests where published ripple and setting accuracy are key, compare the L303/L305/L3010 linear families. Higher-current K3020/K3030 and bench models provide different current and control choices. Match the specific specification to the load.

Which 30V model supports repeated programmed steps?

eTM-L3010SP+ and eTM-K3020SP+ list storage/recall of 100 voltage/current sets and Modbus/SCPI. Select the interface and commands required by the controller; shortcut recall and full test sequences are different features.

Can a 30V, 100A test use the 110V input option?

eTM-30100C caps its 110–130V option at 1200W output. The load requires 3000W, so that option is insufficient.

Can I use a 30V supply for a 5V, 5A load?

Yes, the adjustable range includes 5V. The load requires 25W. eTM-305MP and eTM-305DF provide 5A candidates with different architectures and controls.

Does the five- or six-digit display determine accuracy?

No. Compare display resolution, setting accuracy and ripple separately. For example, the L3010SP+ page lists a six-digit display and its own accuracy specification; extra display digits do not prove a universally more accurate output.

Can I add the currents of a triple-output model?

Select each channel for its own voltage/current requirement. eTM-DM-DDD lists three 30V/5A channels; that does not itself specify a single 15A output or approve parallel wiring.
